Solar Modules are tested for reliability before being cleared for installation, to prevent panel failure under several weather conditions. They are usually accelerated tests to study the performance of panels over 25 years. These tests are called qualification tests and they include Thermal Cycling tests, Humidity Tests, Hot Spots Tests, Mechanical Load tests, Hail and electrical Isolation tests.
